Welcome Back
My name is Mrs. Jaclyn Ashby and I am so happy to be your child’s 1st grade teacher. This will be a great year at Patsy Sommer. I know you will be amazed and excited to see how your child learns and grows. I am looking forward to meeting you at supply drop off Tuesday, August 14th in room A114. During this time, I will provide you with instructions on how to label your child’s supplies and how to organize for the first day of school. Before then, be sure to visit my teacher website located under the Directory tab on the Sommer Elementary web page at http://sommer.roundrockisd.org/. Here you will find information about our classroom, our school and all about me! While there, please fill out the 2018-2019 Student Information Form by clicking on the tab labeled Student Information Form at the top of my page. One of the questions asks how your child will go home from school and it is important that I am aware of the arrangements in advance.
